Ramadan 1440/2019 - Activities at Swansea Mosque:


Full delicious iftar meal will be provided every day for brothers and sisters. Make sure to join us with your family.


Facility available for last 10 days of Ramadan for those who wish to take full advantage of Ramadan. Please book in advance, limited spaces.


For those who require an extra spiritual boost, there would be Tahajjud prayer during the last 10 nights of Ramadan.

Lectures and Tafseer of Quran

Various lectures and regular tafseer of Quarn will be held during the month of Ramadan in the masjid.


This Ramadan, let us connect with the Quran.

Whoever stood to pray (Taraweeh) in Ramadan with perfect faith and seeking reward, he will have his previous sins forgiven’ (Hadith – agreed upon).

Services provided include:

20 raka’ah Taraweeh (Ramadan’s Night Prayers) and Witr prayer in congregation will be held after Taraweeh immediately. A short talk (Tadhkirah) will be held after the first 12 raka’ah of the Taraweeh. Second Taraweeh has been arranged.

Our Programme presenters and leads

Mufti Eunus Ali:

Head Teacher of Swansdea Islamic Academy and Imam of Swansea mosque. He has previously served as a prison chaplain and now serves as the head teacher of the Academy.
The Sheikh completed the memorisation of the Quran during his teens in UK and then pursued further Islamic Education including Arabic language, Fiqh, Hadith and Tafseer. The Sheikh completed the Iftaa program and has also attained Ijazah in many Quranic Recitations.

Maulana Hafiz Muqtaur Rahman Jubel:

Head of Tahfizul Quran and Imam of Swansea Mosque.
The Sheikh completed the memorisation of the Quran during his teens in Bangladesh and then pursued further Islamic Education including Arabic language, Fiqh, Hadith and Tafseer. The Sheikh then went onto completing his studies in the UK as an Alim. The Sheikh is currently the Head of the Hifz Program held in Swansea Mosque.

Hafiz Ibrahim Sallah:

The Sheikh serves as an Imam at Swansea Mosque. He has completed the memorisation of the Quran in Senegal and has completed his BSc and MSc from Swansea University. The Sheikh is currently pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.

Dr Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullah Alhajj:

Dr Ibrahim occasionally leads prayers and delivers lectures in Swansea Mosque. The Sheikh is a medical doctor by profession and has also attained Ijaazah in a number of books of Hadith along with other branches of Islamic Uloom.

Dr Shiekh Abdusalaam Azadi:

The Sheikh is a graduate of the world renowned Islamic University of the Madinah. The Sheikh is a renowned Islamic Scholar and is active in delivering programmes and seminars across the world. The Sheikh has made many appearances on programmes and television channels. He is currently serving as the Head Imam and Director of Swansea Mosque.

Tahmid, Shahadat and Habib:

They are current students in the Swansea Mosque Hifz Program. They will be assisting on leading some rakats of Taraweeh.

Note: 2nd late Taraweeh has been arranged.

Visit My Mosque 2019

In the spirit of friendship and conversation we invite the people of South Wales to our Visit My Mosque open day Sunday 3rd March 2019 form 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

We realise that many non-Muslims may not have visited a mosque before, so the open day is an opportunity for visitors to feel welcome to explore the mosque, to learn a little about the faith and Muslim culture and people, as well as seeing the activities and projects that take place inside our unique mosque.


On the day visitors will be able to learn more about the faith through our exhibition panels covering subjects from, scientific revelations in the Quran and Islam’s view of Jesus. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and guided tours. There will be different activities, such henna and face painting, visitors can also enjoy delicious food and tea and coffee.


The event is open for everyone, you don’t need to be Muslim to enter the mosque. No need to book.
