Mosque Committee

E-mail Print PDF

The mosque and its facilities are run by voluntary Committee members.  Each of these members are democratically nominated and elected at every annual election.

The Committee members are accountable to the public.   Members individually and collectively adhere to an agreed set of rules called the 'Trust Agreement.'  A copy of this document is kept at the UK government's Charity Commissions who are responsible for registering and regulating charities to government legislation.

The Committee is directed by the elected Chairman who oversees all aspects of mosque operations such as the maintenance, daily functions, long term plans and employment of imams and teachers.

If you wish to contact the Mosque Committee or Chairman then please use the contact form for anything that may be on your mind.

Sayings Of The Prophet (S)

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : I heared the messenger of Allah say :

"What I have forbidden to you, avoid; what I have ordered you [to do], do as much of it as you can. It was only their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their prophets that destroyed those who were before you."
