Over £690,000 Raised (July 2011)

Alhamdulliah / Praise be to God, to date (July 2011) we have raised over £690,000 towards the New Mosque Project. This is primarily from the generous public donations from the community within Swansea and nationwide.

Phases 1 and 2 have now been completed. For Phase 3; we have £220,000 (July 2011) of the £600,000 required and we are appealing for your donations and Qard-e-Hasana (Interst free loans) to raise the remaining £380,000 needed.

Phase 3 has been divided into sub-phases, 3a and 3b. Phase 3a will cost £320,000 and 3b will cost £280,000 (approx.). Phase 3a will build the foundation, basement and basic structure of the new building to be erected at the rear section. Phase 3b, will comprise of completing the structure of the whole building (ie all 4 floors).
